Aged 16 years old
Lauren wanted to take part in the Tall Ships Races event because she is always looking for something new to try out and enjoys challenging herself. Lauren loves the sea and takes part in a variety of water based activities while on holiday.
Having only sailed once on a school trip to Raasay Outdoor Centre Lauren is really looking forward to learning to sail as part of her sail traineeship this summer as well as venturing to new places during Race 1.
